Richard Dean Anderson oder auch kurz Rick oder RDA (* 23. Januar 1950 in Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA)) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, welcher die Rolle des Jack O'Neill verkörpert.

Die Knieprobleme, die Jack O'Neill hat, sind meist echt, denn RDA hat hin und wieder Kniebeschwerden(Regiekommentar zu SG1_06x01SG1 6x01 Wiedergutmachung, Teil 1).

RDA ist außerdem großer Fan der Serie Die Simpsons (Regiekommentar zu SG1_07x21SG1 7x21 Die verlorene Stadt, Teil 1); er hatte in der Folge Kiss, Kiss Bang Bangalore sogar einen Gast-„Auftritt“ als er selbst.
